Recall

Does your dog have selective hearing when it comes to being called? Are you worried about letting them off lead in case they don't return to you? Then this is the course for you! Learning the art of having a rocket recall will make those dreams of letting your dog off lead a reality!

This 2 week masterclass takes place outside at Spingwood Junior School, where you will learn a variety of tools to help you to build a successful recall, including key components such as:

• Recall cues, how and when to use them
• Ways of rewarding, what to use and when
• Visual vs verbal cues and targeted recalls
• Making recalls fun
• Recalling from distractions
• How to use a long line

Classes are 90 minutes long. 

A certificate and rosette is awarded upon completion of the course. The course includes a digital course manual with all the training exercises covered plus top training tips.

Does your dog pull? Are daily walks becoming a chore? Do you dread that time of day when you need to take your dog for a walk? Then this is the course for you! Learning the art of loose lead walking, this course will show you how you can make walks enjoyable for you and your dog! 

This 2 week masterclass takes place outside and covers the foundations for successful loose lead walking, keeping it enjoyable for both handler and dog so you look forward to the next walk time and time again!  

Covering key components such as:

• Why dogs pull
• Equipment to use and avoid
• Types of reward and ways of rewarding
• Step by step lead walking techniques
• Maintaining focus during walks
• Problem solving
• Adding the fun factor!
