Puppy Foundations 6 Week Course - £90
A 6 week puppy training course learning essential life skills to give you and your puppy the best start for your future adventures! For puppies aged up to 6 months at the time of the course starting.
This course consists of 6 x 50 minute weekly lessons, during which you will learn essential skills for everyday life such as:
- Walking nicely on lead
- Coming back when called
- Greeting manners and social skills with dogs and people
- Gaining focus
- Leave
- Dropping items
- Play
- Settle
- Handling, health checks and grooming
- Sit, down and stand positions
- Boredom breakers and exercises for the brain
A certificate and rosette will be awarded upon completion of the course. The course includes a puppy pack, treat pouch and a digital puppy course manual with step by step instructions for all the exercises covered in the course plus advice guides on typical puppy problems such as toilet training, biting, chewing, barking and jumping up.
Puppy Intermediate 6 Week Course - £90
Following on from the Puppy Foundations course, this 6 week course primarily focuses on preparing dogs for adulthood where distraction and focus can be an issue and is aimed at puppies who have completed a puppy training course, older puppies (over 6 months) and dogs who have had little/basic training and rescue dogs.
This course consists of 6 x 50 minute weekly lessons and covers essential skills and their use in everyday life including:
- Loose lead walking and walking calmly past distractions
- Recall and coming away from distractions
- Improving focus and engagement
- Impulse control
- Emergency stops
- Motivation via variety and delivery of rewards
- Scent work
- Confidence building
A certificate and rosette will be awarded upon completion of the course. The course includes a digital course manual with step by step instructions for all the training exercises covered plus top training tips and bonus exercises.
