Do you dream of having a dog who will settle calmly while you enjoy a drink in a coffee shop, or who will resist the urge to jump up when meeting people? Then this two-part impulse control workshop is for you. Please note that this comprises of two workshops which will be two weeks apart, this will allow you plenty of time to practise between them. Please do not book if you will not be able to attend both workshops.
Many dogs struggle to control their natural impulses such as jumping up, pulling towards other dogs on walks or just not staying still when you pick up after them – we can help by giving your dog alternatives to these behaviours.
This workshop is split into two, two hour sessions. On the first you will find out about impulse control and learn some activities for your dog to help them stay calm around distractions. The second workshop – which is two weeks later – will give you the opportunity to put these to the test with some ‘real-life’ scenarios!
