Whether you intend to go into the sport of dog agility, want to move on to dog parkour or just want to build your dog's strength, condition and fitness, this beginners course will be ideal for you. Our junior agility course will help to improve your dog's balance, rear end awareness, cognitive abilities and confidence through fun agility and canine fitness exercises
During this 6 week course, held at Clanfield Memorial Hall, we will cover exercises that will teach your dog to be aware of their body placement, to maintain stability and balance, improve their confidence around agility equipment and learn some of the foundation skills of agility, with exercises covering:
Exercises are gentle and non strenuous so are ideal for puppies over 6 months of age, who are not yet old enough to attend classes at an agility club, using equipment such as puppy bump jumps, wobble and tippy boards, contact boards and mats, tunnels and jump wings.
Minimum age for attending is 6 months. Previous training not essential, although basic obedience would be useful.
Classes are held outdoors, with the option of working indoors in the event of adverse weather.
Certificate and rosette awarded upon completion of course.
Please note this course will take place over 7 weeks, as there will be no class on Sunday 14th August 2022 due to an event taking place at the hall
