Whether you intend to go into the sport of dog agility, want to move on to dog parkour or just want to build your dog's strength, condition and fitness, this mini course will be ideal for you. Our agility pre-school will help to improve your dog's balance, rear end awareness, cognitive abilities and confidence through fun agility and canine fitness exercises
Our in person classes are restarting in April 2021 and will be limited to 5 dogs per class with 1 handler per dog. Classes will be held outdoors. 121s are now available in person outdoors, as well as online via Zoom
During this 4 week course we will cover exercises that will teach your dog to be aware of their body placement, to maintain stability and balance, improve their confidence around agility equipment and learn some of the foundation skills of agility such as targeting contact mats, driving forward, start line waits and turning around jump wings.
Exercises are gentle and non strenuous so are ideal for puppies over 6 months of age, who are not yet old enough to attend classes at an agility club, using equipment such as footwork ladders, puppy bump jumps, wobble and tippy boards, contact boards and mats, tunnels and jump wings.
Minimum age for attending is 6 months. Previous training not essential, although basic obedience would be useful.
Certificate given upon completion of course.
